About the event

The community is invited to join Troop 19 Life Scout Cecilia Liang for her Eagle Scout Service Project, repainting the chain fencing surrounding the historic Parsil Family Cemetery on White Oak Ridge Road. Established in 1778, the cemetery is the resting place of Captain Thomas Parsil and his brother Nicholas Parsil, both Revolutionary War soldiers who gave their lives during the Battles of Connecticut Farms and Springfield. Volunteers will help preserve this local landmark and honor Millburn’s early patriots whose courage and sacrifice helped shape the nation’s fight for independence.
