About the event

Experience History Come Alive – Battle of Springfield Day

Join us in celebrating America's 250th by stepping back in time to June 1780, when present-day Millburn played a critical role in our nation's quest for independence on Saturday, May 30 at Taylor Park from 10 am to 4 pm.


We welcome the 3rd New Jersey Regiment "Jersey Blues" for a day of demonstrations and interactive activities for all ages.

Meet Continental Army soldiers and civilian camp followers. Learn about the daily life of Revolutionary War soldiers.

Opening Ceremony

10:00 AM - NJ 3rd Regiment Opening Shot

10:15 AM- Presentation of the Colors by the NJSAR Color Guard (Bauer Center)

10:20 AM- Opening Remarks and Welcome

10:25 AM- Singing of the national anthem by mara epstein
